I have so got to work on Before the Dawn this weekend. I've tried about six times to get this chapter started and it just won't, so I'm using one of my old attempts to write this story as a base - the chapter I'm using was meant to be chapter one, only I got stuck.

So. Here's hoping this chapter will work.

Also, for some reason I have this idea in my head that I called the story Break of Day, which, I didn't. Obviously. I have no idea where that title came from - I never even considered that as a title. I don't like it as a title for this fic.

I just... you know, I don't get my brain sometimes.
