fluent at last in the languages of the sea

Has anyone noticed the latest announcement at ff.net? They're going read-only for a day - fine, they do that all the time - to make some major changes and people should log back in on Monday (which will probably end up being about Thursday) with "an open mind".

Yeah, that worries me.
