Also, you know what is stupid? That Anna Julienne got Best Supporting Actress at the Screen Awards last night. It should've been Antonia Prebble from Outrageous Fortune, because AJ is horrendously wooden and I cringe every time she comes on screen. She's not even the best supporting actress on Shortland Street - Fleur Saville is decent, so's Katherine McRae, even Toni Potter, who's usually fairly unremarkable, manages to give Alice some unexpected depth in her scenes with Craig. AJ is just painful.

But at least they didn't give Amanda Billings Best Actress. There are small mercies in this world.

I saw that. Anna Julienne plays Maya, yes? So not worthy.
I think there would've been revolt if Robyn Malcolm hadn't wone Best Actress.

Maia, yes. Totally not worthy. Of course, I loathe Maia, so that may have something to do with my opinion. And Robyn Malcolm is probably the best actor of either gender in NZ at the moment, IMO.

Yes. I would have gone anyway, but I was feeling distinctly underwhelmed by the line-up until they added JF.

Yes it is good - that is until someone mentioned that JF doesn't appear much outside UK or US as the implication was that he cancels. I hope that doesn't pan out.
