So, last night's Grey's Anatomy: is it just me, or was my girl even more stunningly beautiful than usual?

I have INTENSE HATE for Alex/Ava. Hate hate hate.
Addie and Callie's friendship is one of the few saving graces left on this show. "Why don't you just go there already?" "He doesn't barbecue either."
I'm leaning towards the idea that Mark actually does love Addie - or that he thinks he does - it's probably all the same to him. I felt sorry for him last night.
TV2 edited a few seconds off the hot sex in the on-call room scene. We did not get Alex taking his scrub top off. I have no love for TV2.

Nothing matters except my intense and overwhelming love for Addison. (Except possibly my intense hate of Alex/Ava and George/Izzie.)

That woman might well be the death of me.

I did really like how Ava totally watches Grey's Anatomy like we do. She's all about the sex and intrigue.

I wish they'd just STOP with the metaphors. Or get some better ones. I'm sorry. George is Izzie's Penis Fish?? What? You know, I'd buy the whole G/I thing if they'd slept together and it was a mistake and Izzie hadn't suddenly fallen in love with him. The friendships are the best part of the show, they're what Shonda consistently got (and still gets) right. Cristina and Meredith and how much they need each other. Addison and Callie's friendship. Mark and Derek and the moment where Meredith is drowning. Burke and Derek's competition, but on the inside they're really close. I used to love George and Izzy because their friendship was just so great but she ruined that. I mean, has she not noticed that she pretty much sucks at all the relationships on the show. MerDer - ugh. Burke is a twisted, uncompromising bastard who's trying to ruin Cristina (but at least, their relationship is falling apart in a feasible way and you can actually buy it).

TV2 edited out shirtless Alex? WHY? WHY CAN THEY NOT EDIT OUT DISGUSTING SURGERIES INSTEAD?

Yes, the friendships. "You're my person". "You don't have to like him, but you have to be on his side." All that stuff. If the show consisted only of friendships it would be so much better, because Shonda and co seem to have no idea what to do with romantic relationships.

I'm loving to hate watching the Burke/Cristina trainwreck. I think it's really well done in a really horrible way. And like you said, the audience can buy it, unlike the sudden One True Love of George and Izzie.

Shirtless Alex. I know. It wasn't much shirtless Alex, but it was still shirtless Alex. They are cruel and heartless people over at TV2. That scene was short even before they got their hands on it.
