Okay, there is one I wouldn't mind you writing a sequel to and thus I want to know what happens after it ends, I think you know which one, because we talked about it earlier, and I don't want to harrass you about it, but I couldn't resist temptation, running the risk of not getting a happy answer, although you did tell me once it had a happy ending. I reread this one multiple times and the last time I read it, I had to agree with you, it does have a pinch of a happy ending, but still, there is something inside me that is drawn to this fic, because of the ending it has and because of the haunted tone of the fic. And I think I should tell you which one I'm talking about, it's "all alone in the moonlight", but you knew that already right? And you can hate me because I'm still talking about this fic, but my slight obsession with it is a good thing, it is really! Because only the fics I really love are the ones that keep me up after I have read them.
I figured it was going to be that fic. *g* And I... still don't really know what happens next. I'm probably just as curious as you are. I think it ends happily, eventually, somewhere along the line, once they both learn to compromise and forgive each other and learn how to live together again. I want it to end happily, anyway, and I guess I'm allowed to say that it does, right? *g*
Good, that makes me happy. Is there some way I can bribe you to write a sequel???? Or should I be content with your answer, I'm afraid it will be the latter, but it could be so angsty and so sweet in the end. I'm going to shut up now.....
I'm apologizing for my last post, because it is not fair to harrass you with my depression over the lack of good N/S fics. But I do have another question:
I always felt like Acquainted with the Night was a sequel to Building Castles (which I loved to death BTW), but I always wondered what happened in between. So here you have it, a totally new question and not one I posed million times before.
It was a sequel *g*. As for what happened in between, I think there's a scene where Lindsey explains it. From what I can remember, I think Nick and Sara had always been planning to move away from Vegas because it was the only thing they could manage with the baby, and they ended up in New Hampshire (I think). And they tried to have another baby but they couldn't, and they got married in Texas because Nick's mother was dying of cancer.
I don't think there's really much else significant that happened in the in-between years. Nothing I can really think of, anyway.
