astralisI have spent most of my spare time for the last week watching my way through the second season of that show where Jennifer Garner is really hot and kicks ass (and Michael Vartan is really hot and kicks slightly less ass, and David Anders is really hot and really evil). It's all about the hotness and the ass-kicking, people.
Also, Weiss is my TV boyfriend, and I've been cheating on him with Daniel Jackson. That realisation led to an interesting ten minutes trying to figure out which of them would win in hand to hand combat. My money's on Daniel, unfortunately. Sorry, Weiss.
And that makes a nice segue into talking about SG-1, because "The Quest" (part two) showed here this afternoon, and, well, I've never cared all that much about Cam, partly from having only seen scattered episodes of seasons nine and ten, partly because he isn't Jack O'Neill, and partly because I resent him having command of SG-1 and taking what I can't help seeing as Sam's rightful place. But then there was this episode, and Cam basically just summed up SG-1 and what it means to be SG-1, and I want to cuddle him and pet him and tell him how awesome he is. I don't think this quote is spoilery, out of context, but I'm going to
CAM: Well, now you know that the hard part about being part of this team is not risking your own life. It's watching your friends take chances with theirs. Congratulations. Now you really are one of us.
