1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Derek/Meredith)
Because she's whiny and he's a selfish, egotistical prat who forgot to mention he was married and spent all of season two stringing both Addison and Meredith along. They're no good for each other and they're irritating together and apart.
2. Who is someone you know that ships #13? (John/Teyla)
No one.
3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Mal/Kaylee)
Well, I wrote it. But otherwise, pretty much anything with banter and Mal being Mal and a mutual realization that they're not interested in the right people (Inara and Simon) and that there's someone better right under their noses.
4. Which is your favorite episode for #1? Try to pick just one. (Addison/Alex)
Six Days, which is totally one episode. The vanilla latte and "because he was rude to you" (oh, Alex) and the almost-kiss and the actual kiss - it was so good. And then it wasn't.
5. How long have you been following couple #6? (Craig/Alice)
A few months. I jumped wholeheartedly aboard that ship because of one TV Guide blurb: "Alice has a sleepover at Craig's."
6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop liking them/caring? (Martin/Samantha)
I realised I didn't really like the person Sam was when she was with Martin - and, for that matter, the person Martin was with Sam. And then I saw "Malone v Malone" which hooked me on Jack/Sam.
7. Which ship do you prefer - #2 or #4? (Jack/Sam/Daniel, Scott/Jean)
Jack/Sam/Daniel. I mean, I love Scott/Jean, but the Jack/Sam/Daniel trio is just... well, it's Sam and Daniel being geeks and pissing Jack off (probably in bed), and Daniel trying to comprehend the military mind, and Sam rolling her eyes at her boys. It's being tired of saving the world but knowing you don't have a choice. It's fighting and living and dying (multiple times, when you're Daniel) side by side and sleeping under the stars on alien worlds. It's figuring out how to balance a three-way relationship when you're hardly ever together anymore but these are the only people who really get you and you'd be empty without them.
8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12.(Harry/Hermione or Tony/Kate)
Well, Harry/Hermione is non-existent and Kate being dead is a serious impediment to a relationship. So, yeah. Not much of a choice there.
9. What interests you about #14? (Goren/Eames)
The level at which she gets Goren and loves him despite or because of that knowledge. I don't think it's romantic love, but it's love all the same.
10. When did you stop liking #7? (Nick/Sara)
I don't dislike it, I'm just no longer emotionally invested in it. I haven't really watched the show for a couple of seasons, although I occasionally feel nostalgic for the early seasons. I think it was just time for me to move on.
11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show? (Mal/Inara)
No, it made me more interested, because Mal/Kaylee are awesome and I think that ship makes Mal even more interesting than his relationship with Inara does, because of the way he perceives each of them and the way he is with Kaylee.
12. What's a song that reminds you of #5? (Booth/Brennan)
My Booth/Brennan song is "Hands Open" by Snow Patrol. "It's hard to argue when you won't stop making sense"... I could quote the whole song, but the lyrics are here.
13. Which of these ships do you love the most?
Oh, help. Mal/Kaylee is this steady, slow-burning passion for me that I keep going back to. Booth/Brennan is fun banter and sexual tension and bucketloads of chemistry. I love the relationship Addie and Alex had before Shonda went crazy and I love what they could have been. Jack/Sam/Daniel is the current overwhelming passion for the reasons listed above. I can't pick between them, because I am the queen of indecisiveness.
14. Which do you dislike the most?
Derek/Meredith. No question.
15. If you could have any of these two pairings double date, who would it be? (even better if they're from different shows)
Jack/Sam/Daniel and Booth/Brennan, for the military/scientist thing. Of course Jack and Sam and Daniel would have to do the deep space radar telemetry thing; Booth and Brennan have pretty high clearance but not that high.
Actually, I just want fic where Booth and Brennan go through the 'gate and Brennan and Daniel geek out about ancient civilisations. So. Much. Fun. And I just want to see Booth and Brennan wrapping their heads around the whole alien thing.
16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if you'd like. (Jack/Sam/Daniel)
Well, Jack and Sam have kissed, but only in alternate realities and time loops. Jack and Daniel haven't and nor have Daniel and Sam, and there certainly haven't been any three-way kisses.
17. Did #4 have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely? (Scott/Jean)
With the dying and the resurrecting and then the disintegration? Not so much with the happy. But I'm sure Scott was happy that his fiancee had resurrected herself until she disintegrated him. As far as the Phoenix storyline is concerned I prefer the comics a thousand times over because Brett Ratner did bad things with it.
18. What would make you start shipping #14? (Goren/Eames)
Well, I do ship them, sort of, in that vague, "it would be nice if they got together" kind of way.
19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer - #2 or #6?
(Jack/Sam/Daniel or Craig/Alice)
Craig/Alice is canon - off and on, anyway - but even if it wasn't I'd still pick Jack/Sam/Daniel, because they are awesome. I'd settle for lots of flirting in the movie, because RDA is doing the second one (Continuum?) and no Daniel/Vala, because although I adore Vala like a crazy thing Daniel belongs with Jack and Sam. I don't see a threesome happening in the movie, sadly.
20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? (Harry/Hermione)
I think JKR did it for me.
