Seriously? Katherine Heigl? She's a good enough actress but there are actresses on that show who are phenomenonally talented. Sandra Oh, for example. Chandra Wilson. Argh.

Also, Meredith is the glue. It's her house, her persuasion that keeps them all together (I'm thinking particularly of Alex) George isn't even really friends with Cristina and Alex.
