Yes, the friendships. "You're my person". "You don't have to like him, but you have to be on his side." All that stuff. If the show consisted only of friendships it would be so much better, because Shonda and co seem to have no idea what to do with romantic relationships.
I'm loving to hate watching the Burke/Cristina trainwreck. I think it's really well done in a really horrible way. And like you said, the audience can buy it, unlike the sudden One True Love of George and Izzie.
Shirtless Alex. I know. It wasn't much shirtless Alex, but it was still shirtless Alex. They are cruel and heartless people over at TV2. That scene was short even before they got their hands on it.
