astralisI have so much love for the Chalet School books. Why on earth did I not adore these books earlier?
I did read a few as a kid, but my boarding school story loyalty lay with Malory Towers and St Clares, and I was of the ridiculous opinion that the Chalet School was not a proper boarding school because the girls don't sleep in rows in dormitories and play lacrosse and have midnight feasts.
Manukau Libraries does not have any Chalet School books. I think maybe a trip to Borders is in order. I need more of these books.
