I think I was more emotional over this book than over any of the previous ones. I teared up a few times reading this - Mr Weasley realising that about half his family owes their lives to Harry, and saying that it was a lucky day for the Weasleys when Ron decided to sit in Harry's compartment on the Hogwarts Express. Then there was the scene with Harry, Hagrid, and the Heads of House when they're talking about Dumbledore's funeral, and Harry says that the students will want to say goodbye, only he can't say the word "goodbye" and Professor Sprout has to say it for him. And finally, the last sentence, about Harry knowing he has to have the final showdown with Voldemort, but will have "one last golden day of peace" with Ron and Hermione first.

R.A.B - I've been thinking about this, and the only person I can think of is Regulus Black.

The Lupin/Tonks seemed to come a little bit out of the blue, but when I re-read the book (yes, I've read it twice. In one day. Yes, I am crazy) there were little hints throughout it - bits that don't seem to mean anything until you get to the point. And I like it. I'm a sucker for romance.

So Harry does get the house at Grimmauld Place. I'm wondering if there's a connection between this and R.A.B possibly being Regulus.

Because I like torturing my favourite characters, I was quite pleased that Katie got the cursed necklace. And at least she's not dead because I can still ship her with George Weasley.

I love Luna. The Aurors are working to bring down the Ministry of Magic through a combination of Dark magic and gum disease?! And her Quidditch commentary was brilliant.
