Firstly, thank you for writing for me! I love these fandoms and these women and I'm looking forward to reading anything you come up with. The optional details are very definitely optional; I tried to include a suggestion for everyone in case you're like me and inclined to spend hours staring at a blank screen hoping for inspiration. Character wise, feel free to choose any or all of the requested characters.
I tend to love stories focusing on chosen family and/or female friendship and I'm partial to both slice of life stuff and action adventure. I don't particularly like AU fic or anything particularly porny or kinky, but I don't think my requests really tend towards that anyway. Het, gen and femslash are all fine; I've included a few notes on shipping because I tend to be an OTP-er and other ships are likely to throw me out of the story, even in background pairings.
I've included my requests under the cut for the sake of completeness, but just a few quick additions. For Sanctuary I really love Abby (and, really, everyone, but there's not a lot of Abby fic out there) so if you can work her in, I'd love that. I mentioned Kate/Garrus; I don't mind the occasional reference to him but would prefer the pairing not to play a major role in the fic. If you do decide to include Kate/Declan I'd rather not have Kate cheating, so if it's in that time frame just kindly dismiss Garrus with a sentence or two!
Burn Notice - my optional details suggested Fiona and Madeline together which I really would love, but if you'd prefer to only write one of them, feel free. I do ship Fiona/Michael but it definitely doesn't need to be the focus of the fic and I'd be fine with him not appearing at all.
SG-1 - anything goes, really, especially because none of these characters ever got a lot of screen time. I have a particular soft spot for Cassie and Carolyn, and Hailey intrigues me as well. My only real SG-1 ship/s is/are Jack/Sam and Jack/Sam/Daniel so feel free to do anything you want with anyone else, or not to include any of them as they probably have nothing to do with whatever you have in mind!
Large Fandom: Sanctuary
Women: Kate Freelander, Ashley Magnus, Clara Griffin
Optional Details: Kate - I can think of nothing more coherent than "Kate is awesome, and saves the day." My favourite Kate episode is the Bank Job; I love the way she reads the situation and with about a second's thought stages a bank robbery. No one else could have pulled that off, and it's that competence and quick thinking that I love about Kate. Either the surface or Hollow Earth is good. Not of a fan of Garrus so would prefer gen, unless you want to ship her with Declan. In which case, have fun! Ashley - what was it like growing up in the Sanctuary/finding her place in the world as Ashley, and not as Helen Magnus's daughter. Clara - would love something about her relationship with her mother/grandfather and the ways in which Nigel's role in the Five came to affect them. Or, Clara's time at the London Sanctuary.
Fandom 2 (large or small): Burn Notice
Women: Madeline Westen, Fiona Glenanne
Optional Details: I would love to see them team up to save the day/rescue Michael and Sam, or an exploration of what they mean to each other outside of Michael.
Fandom 3 (large or small, totally optional): Stargate SG-1
Women: Cassandra Fraiser, Carolyn Lam, Amy Vandenberg, Jennifer Hailey
Optional Details: Cassie - making a life for herself as an older teen/adult, either separate from the Stargate programme or in some way connected to it, and how she reconciles the things that have happened in her life with who she is or wants to be. For the other three, really anything you'd like to write. Carolyn's perspective on life at the SGC, Amy trying to figure out what the hell happened in Bounty, Jennifer's role either as an SG team member or possibly on one of the ships. Really anything that explores who they are and why they do what they do while trying to maintain some kind of "normal" life.
