Okay. I am having too much fun with Google, which is helpfully translating Leah Cairns fansites and interviews from German into English for me.

From a fansite: International fame, the dark-haired actress through with their role as Lt.. Margaret 'Racetrack' Edmondson in the TV series "Battlstar Galactica obtained. Cairns was the 'Race Track' for the first time in the episode "Kobol, Part 2" (Season 1). Actually, her character in an episode of this happen, but the production team liked her presentation so much that from Racetrack has been a recurring character. Also in Season 4, which presumably from January 2008 in the United States that will be seen, Cairns again with the game.

Leah on jobs:

A job that I could not do? I could not in a slaughterhouse. Or a butcher shop. With dead animals come I am not very good. I could not cook. When cooking, I am terribly! If I was not acting, I would probably for the NGO of a friend in India, it is called the "One! International. A job that I love? Cool would be Wal-or dolphin trainer. Or diving teacher.

And other jobs that I have done: I started as a waitress with the 16th And I can tell you that I was a great waitress! I also have as an English teacher in Japan worked. Since I have mostly children, and also teaches a program designed to help young children and babies at the time. I have also worked as a hostess, I have most of my trips financed.

I voted for Child Haven International "in a children's home in southern India worked, and in northern India, I have taught English and helped a school for an organization called SECMOL to build (that is, I have worn stones). I have even for a short time working panels for kitchens assembled, but the overalls were just not me.

Personally, I want to know more about the wearing of stones.

On Racetrack:

CC: And one last "Battlestar" Question: We all love Racetrack and hope that we do get to the last episode. But some of us believe that at the end a lot of people die. What are your hopes for race track at the end? Should they be happy until the end of their days to live or perish gloriously?

Leah Cairns: A glorious demise would be cool, but only in the season finale. If Ractrack dies, I get the scripts are no longer free of charge and that, my friends, would be a tragedy.

On nude scenes:

CC: You are in "Godiva's" and "88 Minutes" (nearly) naked occurred. We will take things to the actress approached? I do not think that they just get the script and then play the nude scene, right?

Leah Cairns: I hate it, you say, but just as it is. The screenplay comes out, and it is hoped that it is not too often at McDonalds at the McDrive-breaker. We prepares one out before? Shaving. How was it? For me, it's easy, as long as the other actors also feels comfortable with that. If he feels funny or shy, it is my job infinitely more difficult.

CC: And how is the scene from "88 Minutes" in which you do nothing except an apron, in the promotional trailer of the film cut to see?

Leah Cairns: I thought ... Nice butt. From this perspective, I had not seen it yet ... Not bad.

On what she's doing now:

CC: What are you working on and what can you tell us about this?

Leah Cairns: I work at the time when a family series, which will run on ABC Family. It's called "road rage". I wear no helmets, no flying rubber suit and I am not naked. This is a whole new world for me!

Interestingly, according to the German version, "Road Rage" is Kyle XY.

On filming a particular scene from "The Passage"

Question: What do you think was the Drehabreiten to "Battlestar Galactica" is the best moment?

Leah Cairns: Hmmmm. I do not know whether it can truly call a best moment, but ... I have a funny moment, which could go. In "The Passage" We were shooting a scene in which Starbuck our last food reserves each. Irgendwer, it could have been even I, provides a single, small, tough bars.

Katee should then dissipate with their knives. Every time the bar burst into tiny parts, it will be zusammengesammelt. While an attempt was my piece of the table. I have it lifted from the floor and with the conviction of a starving woman eaten.

Well, it turns out that, whatever I had repealed because no candy in any war. That was not something organic. I had a piece of God-knows-what, as the God-knows-how-long on the ground was located and had to ensure that it looked as if it were the best that I had ever eaten! As I said, maybe not the best moment, but in any case it is remembered.

On Racetrack

Gilles Nuytens: Yes, in the show die many characters. If you had the opportunity, Race Track somehow change or improve, what would you do?

Leah Cairns: Certainly, I would very than a Viper pilot from it! I really want to fly a Viper! And then I would like to ... I would like to know why Racetrack as hard and bitter. My gut feeling tells me that they have a very large hidden pain. And her appearance is only kantiges their way to protect themselves. I would like to explore a little.

On filming "Pegasus"

Gilles Nuytens: What was the funniest event during the filming of "Battlestar Galactica"?

Leah Cairns: You know, this is a serious issue. Because there are so many funny moments. Whenever we Mary, Eddie, and Callis Hogan combined. Every time when these four people in a scene, it is saukomisch. Particularly, I think I have already told some times, this season. Is a somewhat longer history. I try to be brief. One of the funniest stories happened when we filmed a scene, in which the Pegasus Galactica fault. A scene with Michelle Forbes, and Forbes as Adama in the hangar deck. Eddie went to the middle of filming on the set. He thought we would break and went. Michael Rymer, the director, said this is not, and cried: "Action!". It was a close-up of Michelle Forbes and Rymer had no glimmer that Eddie was not there. And professionally as Michelle Forbes is ... if the camera is running, you do your job, so she started with the scene. But no one answered her. So James Callis gallant comes across, on Eddie's place and speaks with the best Adamastimme that you ever heard. Better than Eddie! (Laughs). And they have the entire scene with Michelle and James Callis as Adama played. And Michelle had almost done. Except that Mary started to giggle, then laughed and then began all in the background laughing and Michael Rymer (OR NOT ALWAYS knew that Eddie was not there), and starts all anzuschnauzen because we all laughed during the shoot. Then he looks around and says ... where the hell is Eddie and gets that the whole scene was a fake!

Gilles Nuytens: Sounds fun. How has Michelle Forbes reacted?
Leah Cairns: It was so great. In their eyes, you see a little bit. I think they thought, "I just do what Michael Rymer noted." But Callis simply jumps and starts to talk about how Adama ... so she simply involved. Sie It has thus tried to durchzukriegen! Sometimes, in situations like this, can be very great moments and something magical happens in front of the camera. But Mary could not hold themselves and began to laugh. And Michelle? What can they do? They laughed in half! The only one who does not laugh, was Callis. He was so fixated on Adama to play, it was simply breathtaking!

Now that's a scene that needs to be on the DVD.

Possibly this amuses only me. But that's okay.
