This was lovely, the character voices were so right, you showed how much and how hard Kaylee loves her people, and it felt like a really believable working through of what had happened to them all in Serenity. And Kaylee finding that she wanted Mal! Lovely tone, it felt so natural, and you wrote the surrounding 'Verse so well, with the details always there to illuminate.
