I especially loved — you portrayed kaylee's thought processes and the *time* it took her to get from here to there — from simon to mal, just so nicely, so realistically. So kaylee-y ;) and the longing, and how she loves serenity so much but she loves the people too — this was so right. and I especially loved that it didn't take someone else coming in and making them wake up to get together-- though there's nothing wrong with that, per se, I just particularly enjoyed that it was the two of them, both realizing, and then Mal getting over his initial resistance.
