I suspect that it would be incredibly immature of me to throw a tantrum and declare that I am not watching Rescue Special Ops ever again because the writers are doing it wrong and ruining it.
But.
Ruining!
Like, seriously. Because from where I'm sitting it looks like their grand plan for season three is to alienate their fanbase.
... I'm just mad because 3.09 did not do what I was hoping it would, based on the promos and the fact that they cannot possibly intend to be all Lara/Cam OTP 4EVA. I do believe that by the end of this season Lara will have ditched Cam and probably kissed Dean in one of three contexts: Dean and Lara admit their feelings for each other and decide to have a real, grownup relationship because the show has been cancelled; Lara has realised she's in love with Dean but she's too late and he's moved on; or they kiss and then pretend nothing ever happened for at least half of next season.
I just have no idea how they get from here to there while maintaining Lara's integrity and dignity which, let's face it, they have pretty much trashed already.
My interpretation of the promo which aired at the end of last week's ep: Dean and Cam are in danger, oh no! Lara realises who she truly loves - Dean! I really did not see that ending coming and it's not fair.
